Non-residents paid 81.6 percent more than residents this year, or $8,610. Their price tag grew 7.5 percent from $8,010 in 2017-18.
About 97 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Alabama residents. And about 3 percent are residents of other states.
Data shows 96 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 687 students received grants or scholarships totaling $4.3 million.
Including all undergraduates (3,274), 2,833 students used grants or scholarships totaling $13.3 million.
